As I was coming up with this pattern I thought of my favorite Spinning princess who pricked her finger on spinning wheel and fell into a deep slumber. So it seemed only fitting to call this Aurora's Shawl. This Shawl is designed to be quick and GREAT for those who haven't tried lace yet!! I used Paton's lace and a size K hook.. Now if you are an expereinced crocheter you may be thinking I am out of my mind... I wasn't sure at first if it would work but I love the way it came out and I think it's great!!! Supplies, Crochet hook size K ( plastic ones are awesome because they are lighter than the metal ones!) ! ball or Paton's lace, or simulair yarn for the shawlette or 2 balls to continue with the pattern to make a full triangle shawl. This ring is so easy and lots of fun if you are 4, 24 or 94  I used Paton's lace yarn I recommend either lace weight or crochet thread. I used a steel crochet hook, use the size you are most comfortable with. To make the band: * for a skinny band use sc and for a thickier one use dc* chain 7, hdc in the 2nd chain from hook and hdc in each across ( 6 hdc) *chain 1 turn, hdc in each across*repeat until it's long enough to wrap around your finger. use a yarn needle or your hook to weave the tail and sew the 2 ends together to make the band. turn inside out so the seam is on the inside To make the flower start with a magic circle ch1 sc18 times and pull string to tighten magic circle sl to first sc ch 4 skip 1 stitch and sl in the next repeat all the way around * ch1, 6 sc sl * repeat in each chain 4 band to create petals. sl into first petal and leave long tail for sewing Attach flower over seam and weave in...

Start by Chaining 3 and Double crocheting into the 3rd chain from the hook like so Next Chain 1 then DC around the dc you just did, dc a total of 5 times around the first dc post like so Then 4  dc along the other side Then chain 2, sc chain 2 The chain 2 and sc count as your last dc in every scale but the last scale of your project. Next you DC in the center and chain 1 Repeat this process until you have the length you need. Made with Redheart Shimmer I saw a photo of this Vintage lace pattern and fell in love but I couldn't find a free pattern and so after hours ( I won't tell you how many!) I came up with a pattern :) This is my way of making it based off of the picture! I love this sooo much!! If you use 4ply yarn you can make a quick and easy scarf or use crochet thread and make a pretty edging! Supplies:  any yarn and the hook the yarn suggests you use. I would stay away from anything above a 4ply. Lacey stitches don't hold their shape as well when made with a larger hook and ply yarn. I've made scarfs with this pattern using Bernet Mosaic, Redheart Shimmer, 2 strands of Vanna's Glammar, Loops and Thread's Impeccable, and Caron's simply soft. What will you use? Comment below! Supplies: any type of shirt, I used a cami and a ripped tank from target ( on sale for $5.00 each) A steel crochet hook I used 2.75 , but size 0 works too. and Crochet thread any size.  I also used Bernet Mosaic ( pink cami top) and it turned out great Skill level  I would suguest that you be able to have a even tension. There isn't an important gauge for this project but your stitches should be even. If you aren't sure try this on the edge of a thin dish drying towel or an old rage  :) A few notes I like to start in the middle of the back of the shirt so you can try a few stitches and if you make a mistake it wont be noticed.  Also don't try this out on you favorite shirt!!
