How to make a DIY Crochet Circle Vest, Instruction to use your favorite doily pattern and my FREE pattern is included as well

This one drove me crazy until I made several! Anyone else hook in their car?  This pattern is for advance beginners and beyond For those that prefer an exact stitch count for every size this in not the pattern for you. I made this pattern last year but didn't put it up because i don't have the yarn budget and whew the time to make this in every size. If you search circle vest patterns on ravelry I am sure you can find paid patterns in any size you want. I have taught this as a class in a major craft store and many students loved the idea of learning to make something with this level of customization . Note I instead of just giving you what I did to make my size I am giving you all of my notes so you can make it in your size as well. If you are comfortable reading patterns then this should not be difficult for you however I would not suggest this pattern to be the first written pattern you should try. Every time I have make this I have used a different 4ply y...

Chiq Chrismas Tree

everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!! Merry August hehehehe Have you started making your gifts and decorations yet? If no why not??????? I know I have to start in july or I won't finish!! I can't take credit alone for this idea, my wonderful coworker ( CERTIFIED Knitting instructor)  Diane  thought why don't we make a yarn bombed type Christmas tree and this is what we did. Have I mentioned lately I love love love my job!!! skill level.. easy can ever be done with out crocheting First lets talk about the supplies you need I used bernat boucle ( i can only loom with this we both dislike this yarn for knitting and crocheting!)  A cone, Michaell's and other craft stores have these in many mediums, I like using styrofoam  because when wrapping the yarn there is no need to use glue!!!!!! I used these pins to start but I recommend using longer ones ( or T pins) , hahaha it was a pain to get these in.  eyelash yarn to use as garland!!!!!!...

Aurora's 3 in 1 shawl,vest, shawlette free pattern

As I was coming up with this pattern I thought of my favorite Spinning princess who pricked her finger on spinning wheel and fell into a deep slumber. So it seemed only fitting to call this Aurora's Shawl. This Shawl is designed to be quick and GREAT for those who haven't tried lace yet!! I used Paton's lace and a size K hook.. Now if you are an expereinced crocheter you may be thinking I am out of my mind... I wasn't sure at first if it would work but I love the way it came out and I think it's great!!! Supplies, Crochet hook size K ( plastic ones are awesome because they are lighter than the metal ones!) ! ball or Paton's lace, or simulair yarn for the shawlette or 2 balls to continue with the pattern to make a full triangle shawl. I like my shawls to wrap around my body and I am what you would say is CURVY so feel free to reduce the size if you have a small frame this pattern is easy to reduce or enlarge because it is a multiple of 5 plus 3. *** Exa...

I made a variation of the flower she used and I will be sticking it all over my county fair project. The pink Is mine and the White is hers! There are very many versions of flowers available online!! Supplies  Yarn any kind Hook  Whatever size the yarn calls for I used a super soft wool in Cotton Candy from  Eco Yarn  ( an AMAZING etsy shop that recycles yarn from thrift store sweaters!)  and a size G crochet hook! Start with a Magic circle and chain 2 ( count as your step un and not a DC) Work 12 DC in to the Magic Circle, join, We chain4 at the beg. because the 1 chain counts as your sc chain 4 skip on stitch, sc in the next, *chain 3 skip one stitch * repeat   * YOu should have 6 chain spaces.
