It's Holy week so I thought I would come up with a simple cross that is a great introduction to tapestry crochet. The color changes are simple :) Do this up in cotton and it's a cute wash/ dish cloth. Or use just about any yarn and make a scarf, or blanket by making lots of these and attaching them. Try out a variety of colors. Before starting this pattern I recommend you do a square of 16 by 16 sc. If your stitches aren't even I wouldn't recommend this pattern just yet. There are sooooo many crochet heart patterns out there, some are easy , so are hard and some make no sense. This is a quick one I came up with after searching and not finding what I wanted! Supplies needed: Yarn ( any ) and the hook that is suggested to use for that yarn ROUND 1 I'm using a size H and 4ply Caron Simply Soft Chain 6, 2hdc in 2nd ch from the hook, 1 hdc in next ch ( 3rd from hook) 5hdc in next ch.
