Bellini yarn

About a month ago when I came into work ( Michaels arts and crafts * they have nothing to do with my blog.. everything I say is my own opinion*) my boss D said hey look at this new yarn we got yesterday can you crochet something with it? LOL yes because it's that easy with a novelty yarn.. BUT this yarn really was fun so I got to work while people in the store stopped and watched me. Tips for the Michaels insturctors that follow my blog ( I at least know who some of you are) grab a fancy yarn and crochet with it for a demo and more people will stop. Bring a box of it in front of the demo table and you will see is sell!! Selling more yar may not affect your pay but could make your manager want to have you demo more!
Before I share the pattern I wanted to give my quick review of this Lion Brand yarn.
It makes a quick and easy project and its fun to work with. It does require untwisting as you go which can be a pain in the.. BUT most novelty yarns tend to have this problem it's really the nature of the beast. I love that it's not just another version of the same types of novelty yarn we see in every store. Props to you Lion Brand for doing something different and suceeding! Also I love that I can crochet into the ladder part or use a jumbo hook and crochet the whole for a varried look What types of project would this yarn be good for???
Belts, fashion scarves, trims on hats or blankets, cowls, necklace and to add fun texture to any project. What would I not ue this yarn for? Anything in the round! It would be hard ( but doable if u have lots of coffee or wine lol and great eyesight) to see the stitches. * this is not a paid review and is my own review* Now that you have read my thoughts here is a free pattern that's so easy and cute you will be hunting this yarn down in no time... Supplies less than one hank of bellini size N ( or close to ) crochet hook Optional clips to add to the cuteness * we will be crocheting into the ladder of the yarn and untwisting it as we crochet along. We will be chaining about 75. Skipping 2 to 4 ladders inbetween. When I had about 45 chained I slip stitched into the first chain and kept chaining. Join the last chain in that same spot. Weave in your ends and add clips. You could also chain the entire hank that way and attach a huge flower and wear it as a cute warm cowl!! Are you more likely or less likely to buy this yarn now? What do you this about this project??
